PIONEER PACERS QUICK RECAP A great day for MCXC on the challenging, hilly course at Camden Park! Both of our Top 7 teams finished 3rd overall, with the boys scoring 90 points and the girls scoring 86 points. We also finished ahead of both of the sectional opponents we saw today. Individually, we had 11 new lifetime PRs and 3 additional 2026 season-best performances, with Emilea Busard’s official time still pending. That is a lot of improvement on a course that historically is not known for producing fast times! TOP-10 FINISHERS Lyncoln Cardine — 3rd Place, Top 7 Boys — 12:23.3 Avery Boss — 6th Place, Top 7 Girls — 14:27.7 Brantly Hockenberry — 6th Place, Open Boys — 14:57.0 Our packs also showed some encouraging development, and we still have a lot of our primary training block ahead of us. Overall: two 3rd-place team finishes, three Top-10 individual finishes, 14 confirmed PR/season-best performances, and another result still to come.
